What the interval memorizer does

It helps you attach a reliable reference to every interval — the leap that starts a familiar song — then drills you until the sound is automatic, in both directions. Direction matters: a descending sixth doesn't sit in the ear like an ascending one.

How you'll use it

Use it to build the vocabulary you need for transcription, sight-singing, and playing by ear. When you're ready to train without the crutch of song references, Coco's Climb, Fall, and Span games take over.

FAQ

Common questions

How do song references help?

Anchoring an interval to a song you know gives your ear a starting hook. Over time you stop needing the reference and hear the interval directly.

Does it cover descending intervals?

Yes. Descending intervals are trained separately because they often feel different from their ascending counterparts.
