What the sight singing trainer does

It generates short melodies you read and sing in real time, then listens through your microphone to show how close your pitch was. Start with stepwise diatonic lines and progress to leaps and chromatic notes as your reading improves.

How you'll use it

Singers, choir members, and instrumentalists use sight singing to internalize how notation sounds. It's the production side of ear training — and it reinforces the recognition skills you build in Coco's listening games.

FAQ

Common questions

Do I need to read music?

A little helps, but easy levels start with simple stepwise melodies and solfege so you can build reading and singing together.

Does it use my microphone?

Yes — to give pitch feedback. It runs in the browser and you control microphone access.
